The Ministry of Textile and Jute of People’s Republic of Bangladesh has been implementing a project titled- “A Study on the Development of Textile Education Sector in Bangladesh:
Targeting the Fulfillment of Local HR Demand.” Under that project, Grambangla’s sister concern DATASEARCH has been conducting a research titled “To Carry out a study on Textile Education Sector’s Long Term Development Plan Outlining the Strategies in Fulfilling the Local HR Demand by Involving both Private and Public Sector.”
In this regard, on 20 October 2019, DATASEARCH organized a Multi stakeholder Consultation Workshop at CIRDAP Auditorium. Mr. Mohammad Belayet Hossain, Secretary, Ministry of Textile & Jute was present as the chief guest of the workshop. Besides him, Ms. Gulnar Nazmun Nahar, Additional Secretary and others higher officials of Ministry of Textiles and jute; teachers and students of different public and private textile universities and others stakeholders were present at the session.
Mr. Sk Shamsur Rahman, Project Director, Ministry of Textiles and jute; A K M Maksud, Executive Director, DATASEARCH and Mr. Mozammel Hoque, Consultant, DATASEARCH shared the objectives of the project and the workshop and the so far findings of the survey.
During the Group Work Session, the participants shared their valuable thoughts about the textile industry.
