Orientation Program of Education and Health for Child Waste Pickers’ Project

On 1st July and 2nd July 2015, a two days Orientation Workshop for the project staff of “Education and Health for Child Waste Pickers’ Project, supported by ChildHope UK/ Big Lottery

Fund was held at the Head Office of GrambanglaUnnayan Committee. All the project staff from GrambanglaUnnayan Committee (GUC), NariMaitree (NM) and NagorikUddyog (NU) took part in that event. Professor H K S Arefeen, Former Chairman, Dept. of Anthropology, University of Dhaka and Chief Advisor, GUC was the Chief Guest of the event and Mr. MozammelHoque facilitated the sessions. Moreover, Zakir Hossain, CEO, NU; ShaheenAkter Dolly, ED, NM; Mr. A K M Maksud, ED, GUC and ImtiajRasul, Vice Chairperson, GUC were also present at the event.

The program was designed to make all the project staff understand the objectives, outcomes, activities, outputs and deliverables of the project. The purpose of that event was to build strong working relationship among the implementing Partners which will ensure better coordination.
